I've been losing repeated skirmishes with my metabolism, waking up at strange hours, and then not being able to back to bed for twenty hours or so. (eg: Yesterday I woke up at 0100 (AM) and managed to watch TV and play NWN all the way through to about 2000 (8PM) before crashing (just missed you, sophocles), and then, this morning I woke up in the 400 (AM) hour, and I am now out of bed, in most senses). And cramps. Ugh.

I have gotten to see some good bad TV (eg: some Eris episodes of Hercules:TLJ), and renewed my affection for Sliders. Also, I've been playing through some really well-done modules for Neverwinter Nights. I'll blurb the latest ones in their own post, as I'm coming towards the climax of ee2 (sequel to ee). Oh, and I figured out a few more bits of data on one story, and composed an ambitious plan for rearrange the room's furniture, with a possibility of getting something different to sleep on.

And that's it. I haven't been out of the house since Fri (when I slept through margarita_fri by waking up at 2200 (10 PM)). Just for emphasis, let me say that this sucks. And the file cabinet is in fact, still in the truck.

You, y'all ?

How's NWN treating you? Are you on any of the expansions, homemade games, or just the standard NWN?

In summary: Once past the publisher politics (*shakes fist at Bioware*, *spits on future grave of MacSoft*) the game is great.

I've played throught the whole thing (OC, SoU, HotU), mudded on persistent worlds (PWs) like Dambrath, and played a few user modules. I'm intending to do a post on the module sequence I'm in right now, once I finish it, but if you can't wait, it's really good :) They are Elegia Eternum and Excrutio Eternum (ee1 and ee2), and the writing is fantastic.

Shorter summary: entertaining, and occasionally thought-provoking, and yes :)

File cabinet?

The file cabinet reference is multi-purpose.

There is literally a metal filecabinet in the bed of the truck. It is destined for a spot in the garage which was cleared for it a week or more past. So, the first purpose is to remind me to do something about it, and the second is to remind sophocles about it, as it was with his assistance that the filecabinet got into the truck.

More broadly, it is to remind me to contact sophocles, and a few other people I haven't gotten back to in the last week or so, and ought to. For starters: ptwarhol, bearster, bheansidhe, and uh, the cult. Oh and that client.

More broadly still, it is symbolic of exactly how little I have been able to accomplish is the last, oh, month or so. Including, or not including rather, that test.

Just a small nod to your sliders reference. I caught it today before trudging off to work. Wow. What a show.

Severe tiredness? and cramps? Are you sure you're not suffering from PMS....or did you get pregnant and not tell any of us?
